Sandra Sheffield
Mrs. Sheffield has been a nurse in the Rochester community for over 35 years, having earned her RN degree from The Genesee Hospital School of Nursing in 1978 as well as her AAS degree from Monroe Community College in 1990. During her distinguished nursing career, she has worked in a variety of settings. She has in-hospital experience working on various medical and surgical units including the Orthopedic and GI units at the Genesee Hospital. She also worked on the IV team at Genesee and served as an infusion nurse at Option Care. She achieved certification as an AIDS Certified Registered Nurse and worked at the Community Health Network Primary Care Clinic with HIV+/AIDS patients for several years. Additionally, she has experience as a Clinical Trial Coordinator. Prior to joining Dr.Medved’s practice, she was a charge nurse on the Park Ridge Chemical Dependency Unit and a nurse case manager for the Unity Certified Home Health Agency. She will be managing infusions and triage as well as assisting with prior authorizations and prescriptions.
