Bridget Skinner joined Dr. Medved’s team in June 2016. She came to his office with 20 years’ experience in the medical field, and 10 years’ experience as an electrical engineer at the Eastman Kodak Company. Bridget was raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and initially went to college at Wayne State University in Detroit. She graduated with her bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, and relocated to Rochester, New York in the mid 1980s to work for the Eastman Kodak Company. For as long as she could remember, she was interested in medicine, and with the support of her husband, she left Kodak and pursued her physician assistant’s degree, graduating with high honors from the RIT Physician Assistant program in 1996. In her over 20 years as a physician assistant, she has worked academically as clinical coordinator in the RIT Physician Assistant program, as well as clinically in emergency medicine (The Genesee Hospital, Highland Hospital), transitional and rehabilitative care (The Jewish Home), and now, with Dr. Medved and his team. She considers the opportunity to help patients maintain optimal health and well-being an honor and a privilege.
